ABOUT THE GALLERY

The Ann Coleman Gallery first began in August of 2007 on the 2nd Floor at 22 West Main Street, Wilmington Vermont, featuring the representational work of Ann Coleman. Her subject matter focuses primarily on Vermont landscapes, local scenes and images from the garden, with the use of vivid, brilliant color. Ann's commissioned portraits also grace the walls of homes across many countries. She has been a resident and painter of the Mount Snow Valley for over 34 years.

Before Opening her own Gallery, Ann traveled doing shows from Florida to Maine. In December of 2009 Ann & her husband purchased a small derelict building @ 23 West main Street in Wilmington, Vermont, that they gutted and renovated with the guidance of Linesync Arcitecture. This beautifully transformed space became the new Ann Coleman Gallery which was an Artist's Collective Space housing the work of 7 local artists/artisans. In August of 2011 the flood waters of Tropical Storm Irene's hit Vermont with a vengeance and washed the entire newly renovated Gallery and all it's Art contents into the Deerfield River, dispersing it up to 5 miles down the Lake Whitingham.
